PORTRAITS THAT DON’T ASK PERMISSION

A community feature page by Myron Edwards Photography — Coleman, Texas.

Some portraits pose. Ours don’t. This page honors the frames that never asked — the unguarded second, the look that wasn’t arranged, the light that did what it wanted. Every week the strongest work submitted by photographers everywhere is featured here and on Instagram, credited always, chosen slowly, never bought.

How To Be Featured

1. Post your boldest portrait on Instagram.

2. Tag it #PortraitsThatDontAskPermission and tag @portraitsthatdontaskpermission in the photo.

3. Every tag is reviewed. Features are chosen on one law only: the better the portrait, the louder it speaks.

There is no fee, no form, and no favoritism. The tag is the doorbell — ring it with your best.

The Founder Features

The walls were hung before the doors opened — fourteen founding features from the house collection:

Feature Nº 1 — The Rain · The Rain, Second Look · Sloane — The Exception · Marlow · Cassidy · Rue · Mae · Loretta · The Peach Study · She Opens The Doors · The Floral Study · La Catrina — The Finish · The Elegance In Ruins · The Elegance In Ruins, Second Look

(Photos for this gallery are being hung — check back as the room fills.)
